5C performed an assembly to their peers and parents, retelling the historical story of the "Witch Hunt Craze" that took place in 16th and 17th Century Britain.
In preparation, 5C analysed propaganda pamphlets and discussed the purpose of these images and their role in the witch hunts.
The assembly itself restaged a historical narrative, telling the tale of the Witch Hunt Craze. The children worked hard to project their voices, showing off their acting skills and even sung beautifully.
In the pupils' words:

"I found performing and showing off my drama skills very fun! Though I only had one line, everybody cooperated and gave it their best to make a brilliant play about witchcraft."

"It went really well but at first I was really nervous!"

"At our 5C class assembly we had to learn lines and bring costumes then perform to Year 5 and our parents. It was very fun and I am looking forward to more future class assemblies!"
