Sports Day 2026 was a fantastic day that showcased sporting talent, effort and house spirit. It was great to see so many CJS pupils participating with enthusiasm in front of their peers, teachers and parents. The weather was perfect for the event, creating ideal conditions for a memorable day of competition.
The House competition was closely contested from start to finish, with every point proving valuable. Congratulations to Grays Inn, who were crowned this year’s Sports Day champions after a series of excellent performances across the track and field events. There were some outstanding individual and team efforts throughout the day, with pupils displaying excellent effort and sportsmanship.
A particular highlight was the number of school records broken. An incredible 15 school records were surpassed, reflecting the high standard of competition and the athletic talent on display. These achievements will be recognised and celebrated during the whole-school assembly at the end of the year.
Above all, Sports Day was a brilliant opportunity for pupils to challenge themselves, support their house teams and enjoy competing in a positive and encouraging environment. Thank you to all staff, parents and pupils who helped make the day such a success. It was a fitting way to celebrate another excellent year of sport at CJS.
