Celebrating a musical week of year 4 breakfast concerts

Over the past week we have enjoyed three separate year 4 breakfast concerts!

The repertoire in the 4J concert stretched from classical pieces by Bach, Dvořák and Vivaldi, more modern pieces by Bacewicz and Bernstein, to pop music from Queen. And we had music from all over the world, from Russia to the United States, Poland to North England and Ireland to Bohemia. 

4C picked up the pace with Western themes, Spanish Nights, and toe-tapping  dances! Bears and shepherdesses were twirling, chimpanzees were cha-cha-ing, there was a boisterous can-can, a frenzied Tarantella and a Tango Hideaway. 

4S provided a wonderful conclusion to the Breakfast Concert programme this week. Performed by a confident range of beginner to experienced players, the audience enjoyed magical music from Harry Potter, a Mozzie flew into the room, some cowboy power with a Western Theme and even a Drunken Sailor paid a visit.  

Congratulations to all the performers for their wonderful showcase of hardwork and talent.
