Multiple teams from Year 4 and 5 have competed in football fixtures, representing the school brilliantly!
Our Year 4 and 5 girls teams have played at away matches against Cavendish School. Three teams played in each year group, with Year 4 combining their scores for an 8-6 victory! Year 5 battled hard against Cavendish's Year 6 teams and narrowly lost overall. Some excellent performances on the road!
Our boys teams have played against Sussex House at home (Coram's Fields!) this week where they played some very competitive matches! The overall result in Year 4 was 7-7, with a win, draw and loss across the three matches. In Year 5, we had some tough contests and managed to win one out of our three games.
Well done to all our players for all their efforts and sportsmanship this week!

Gray’s Inn Singers have been crowned UK champions at Barnardo’s National Choir Competition as well as winning at The Watford Festival 2026
The Gray’s Inn Singers from City Junior School have also won the Grand Prize for Musical Excellence at the Barnardo’s National Choir Competition. The choir performed at Birmingham Symphony Hall on Tuesday 3 March, having been selected as one of 16 outstanding finalists in the Junior Choir category. Their programme featured a captivating performance of Sakura, a traditional Japanese song arranged by Michael Neaum, followed by Larysa Kuzmenko’s dramatic and evocative Winds, which portrays the gathering intensity of a storm. This achievement is a testament to the children’s hard work, dedication, and passion for singing, and we are incredibly proud of them.…
