Year 3 Get Cooking!
All news
Last Tuesday, Year 3 took part in a fantastic cookery workshop led by Mr Gokani and Ms Soochit from Hoppers. During the session, the children explored the process of forming pasta from fresh dough and learned how simple ingredients can be transformed through different cooking techniques. They also created their own delicious pasta sauces and particularly enjoyed getting hands-on with the ingredients whilst learning the different stages involved in making the dishes.
As well as developing their cooking skills, the children also learned about nutrition, discussing the importance of a balanced diet and the role that different ingredients play in keeping our bodies healthy. The workshop provided a wonderful interactive learning experience, encouraging teamwork, creativity and confidence in the kitchen, and the children worked enthusiastically throughout the session. The children thoroughly enjoyed the workshop and were especially excited to taste the delicious food they had prepared themselves. It was a fun, engaging and memorable experience for all involved, and we would like to thank Mr Gokani and Ms Soochit for such an inspiring and enjoyable workshop.
