Year 6 Science Exhibition
All news
This week, Year 6 classes were delighted to showcase their scientific understanding in a special Science Exhibition. Each pupil chose an aspect of science that they had particularly enjoyed learning about or wanted to explore further, presenting their investigation on a trifold display board.
The children carefully explained each stage of their experiments and investigations, using diagrams, models and graphs to bring their work to life. Their hard work and enthusiasm were admired by pupils from across the school, while parents were also invited to visit the exhibition and celebrate their achievements.
The pupils particularly enjoyed the opportunity to share their investigations and explain their findings:
“I really had fun explaining my experiment to all of the Year 6 children.”
“I was nervous at first, but I quite liked presenting my work once I’d settled into a rhythm.”
“It was very hard to set up my experiment, but I got there in the end!”
“Although I originally had trouble explaining my experiment, I found I got better the more I tried.”
“The hard work I put into my investigation really paid off.”
The exhibition was a fantastic celebration of the children's scientific curiosity, perseverance and growing confidence as young scientists.
